Malyovitsa Bulgaria Ski Resort
If you love skiing, you’re gonna love Malyovitsa, a little resort about 40 km from the city Borovets. It is a ski resort and a peak located in southwestern part of Bulgaria which is still a part of the Rila Mountains. The place is just in the middle of Malyovitsa Ski Centre that has two ski drags and also downhill tracks and the Rila Monastery which is located at the southern part.

You can try skiing at lower altitude here and for those of you who have more skiing experiences, you can try to slide from higher ground up to 1,700 altitude. You can also get ski equipment rental here and also some ski pistes. It was said that some tourist from the town of Samokov, in the year of 1921 until 1922, arranged the tourist expedition in the region.

For challenge lovers, they can try to beat one of the most difficult climbing route here in Bulgaria located at the largest mountain walls. Those things make Malyovista the best spot to go trekking and mountaineering. However, the shortcoming is that they haven’t developed the accommodations yet.
